Your pavers will be able to withstand ground movement and sudden temperature changes. If your pavers do get damaged in any way, repairing them can be achieved by simply replacing the worn pavers with new ones. In the battle of durability, concrete slabs just don’t make the cut. Concrete breaks quite easily, and it is nearly impossible to repair concrete once it’s been broken. If you live in an area where the temperature fluctuates a lot, (the desert, for example) pavers may not be the best choice for you. Pavers on the other hand are quite durable. Regularly sealed, they can last for many years on a property, carrying the load all the while. Pavers cost more upfront than concrete, but you’ll save quite a bit of money in the long run on repairs that you don’t need to do.
