It has an all metal brass body with gold accents, traditional knurled grip and knurled top piece, and a sturdy metal clip. The Rotring 800 lead holder has a very technical look and will appeal to engineers and artists for its solid construction and lead advancement mechanism. This 2.0 mm lead holder has a clutch system, allowing you to extend lead in small amounts with each click of the top knock button. The lead holder has a 8 mm diameter grip and 9 mm hexagonal body shape. The subtle change in body shape links this modern drafting pencil with its wooden pencil ancestors. Top cap comes off to insert refill lead, right above the iconic Rotring red circle. Will refill with any standard 2.0 mm lead.
