The Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Continental offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model. This model is made for electric vehicles.

This model benefits from the tread’s optimal road contact to lower road disturbances while tires are in motion. The tread consistently follows the driving surface, allowing the footprint to channel airwaves and prevent them from coming into contact with tread elements. The airwaves do not generate tread noise, reducing the overall road disturbances heard in the vehicle’s cabin. It allows the passengers to enjoy a noise-free driving experience.

The tread design and the strong compound materials promote a longer tread life. This tread design balances out load and driving pressure across the tread area in order to prevent excessive pressure build-up in one spot and avoid irregular wear. Premature wear formations are resisted, as the durable compound materials slow down the overall treadwear rate. In this manner, the tire offers phenomenal usability and service life.

The detailed asymmetric tread provides a high number of biting edges to the driving surface to enhance controllability and driving stability at high speeds. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
